Week 10 - Last week of the term. STEAM class.

What a fabulous day we had with our sister class in China. Today we looked at the art & maths component related to our tiny homes.

 In order for the students to get an idea of the scale of a tiny house & what goes into it, we drew up a scaled model in the classroom. In groups, the students were given different rooms to create using whatever furniture they could find in the classroom. 



What an amazing time in terms of thinking, relating to others, using symbols & texts, managing themselves and participating & contributing in their groups. Lots of problem solving happened too & especially having to negotiate for space. Here are some of the photos.
