Room 17 MVS 2018

We were very fortunate to be invited to the Hobsonville Primary School Show titled: THE SNOW WHITE VARIETY SHOW What an amazing performance the students put on!  Thanks for inviting us!

Congratulations to Megan and Katie for making it through to the Inter-School Speech Competitions.  You both did a fabulous job and did our class proud!

Quite a number of students create buildings in Minecraft, but check this out! An ice cream truck based on a book by David Walliams.

What amazing speeches we heard this week and what a hard decision it was choosing x 2 finalists for the Inter-School Speech Competition on Wednesday 29th!  A big thank you for the students of Room 17 who were very professional in their marking of each student and the positive feedback they gave. Our two finalist are: MEGAN WIGGILL AND KATIE LEE.  We're looking forward to hearing from them both in week 6.

Wow! What a great assembly we had today. I am so proud of all the students in Room 17. The behind the scenes was quite stressful, especially when you have 24 different personalities who wanted to have a say in how we present, but we got there in the end! A big thank you to Luis and Megan for being our 'Travel Expo' hosts. It isn't easy getting up in front of such a large crowd and presenting as they did - Ka pai. I would also like to thank all of the parents & caregivers who came to watch! We even had parents standing in the corridor...great support!
